What to Expect
We want everyone who comes through our doors to feel welcome! Our Pastors and leaders are available before and after every service if you have any questions or need prayer. In our Welcome Center, you'll find our ELC cafe which provides refreshments before service and you can find out about our ministries, outreaches and upcoming events at the Information Center. Our service begins at 10:00am and you can expect it to last a little more than an hour.
Prayer over our service starts individually with our worship team, staff and leadership throughout each week and culminates with corporate prayer before the service starts on Sundays. Our service starts by expecting God's glory to fill the place as we offer worship to Him. At ELC, we sing and worship because God is worthy of our praise. Our worship team strives to sing & play with excellence encouraging every person to open their hearts and enter into worship with them!
Our lead pastors are committed to proclaiming the gospel and love of Jesus as the central story of every message. The messages are scripturally based and brought to you in a relevant way to help relate to your life. We generally implement a variety of media options such as graphic designs, videos and music into our messages as well.
Our pastors and prayer team are always available after every service to pray for you. You can also write your prayer request on a communication card to have someone contact you for prayer.
Our nursery & kids services are fully staffed and available for you and your child during every service. The children's services and classes provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children. We do extensive background checks on all our volunteers to ensure that your children are safe and cared for. While they are with us, they will experience the love of Jesus and the truth of the Bible in a fun, exciting, and practical way. Our nursery and cry room are available during all services.
Planning to attend ELC soon? You can pre-register your child here.
Dress code is a non-issue at ELC. You can dress casual or you can wear your Sunday best. Most of our group goes for casual and comfortable.
We have communication cards available for you to fill out. We use the information you provide to get to know you better. Please feel free to write down additional comments or let us know of prayer needs that you may have. During the service, we won’t ask you to stand and be recognized as a guest and we won’t call you out during one of our services!
A few more answers to some
questions you may have
What do you believe about communion?
We believe communion is a symbol. It symbolizes the body and the blood of Jesus that was sacrificed for us. We observe this ordinance once a month during our Sunday service. Check out the "What We Believe" section on our site for further information on this and other topics.
How do people give financially to this church?
Each Sunday, during the worship service, we receive an offering. These financial gifts enable ELC to fulfill the mission and vision God has given it. The Old Testament references a "tithe," or "tenth," as an acceptable gift. The New Testament discusses giving in accordance to what God has given us. We believe that giving is a demonstration of faith in God. We are to give in a way that takes faith. If you would like to contribute to ELC, you can click on this link.
What is expected of me?
